President Presenting Awards Today

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is presenting the 2008 Upakarti, Technology Initiation and Good Design Selection (IGDS) awards at the state palace, on Wednesday (7/1).

Nineteen people who have developed small-and-middle-sized enterprises (SMEs) will receive Upakati awards, which are divided into three categories: Dedication, Initiation, and Modern SMEs.

Five people will receive technology initiation awards while nine people will receive IGDS awards.

The IGDS awards are divided into three categories: the Grand Award, Special-Craftsmanship, and the Gold Award.
