President Meets Prime
Minister of Norway Thursday, 27 May 2010 Antara News President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono President, on Wednesday afternoon Oslo time, met Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. In the meeting that took place in this Hagestuen Goverment Guest House, the two leaders discussed concerning the increase in bilateral relations of the two countries especially the co-operation in the forestry field. The meeting was for 30 minutes ended with the signing of Letter of Intent concerning the co-operation of the two countries in the forestry field. LOI was signed by RI Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa and the Environment Minister and the Development of Internasional Norway Erik Solheim. In the meantime President Yudhoyono and PM Stoltenberg witnessed this signing. Beforehand in the trip towards Oslo, the Head of State said Indonesia was very serious in being on duty at the tropical forest as one of the world lungs. Because of that the President asked all the sides in the country together to achieve this aim. |
