congratulations for re-elected SBY

A stream of congratulatory messages were sent recently from different
countries to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono following the
confirmation of his re-election after the presidential elections.
In a press release issued by the British Embassy in Jakarta, British
Prime Minister Gordon Brown extended "warm congratulations on your
re-election for a second term as President," to Yudhoyono. "Indonesia
has made great progress in strengthening democracy and governance since
1998, especially under *Yudhoyono's* leadership during *his* first
term," he said.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel conveyed a similar message.
"Your decisive victory shows how much Indonesians support your
government's values and goals.I wish you continued success and a sure
hand during your second term in office," Merkel said in a message made
available to The Jakarta Post by the German Embassy in Jakarta.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg also congratulated Yudhoyono.
"I would like express my warmest congratulations on your re-election as
President of the Republic of Indonesia," Stoltenberg said in a letter, a
copy of which was sent to the Post by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in
Jakarta.
Stoltenberg also conveyed his condolences to Yudhoyono and Indonesian
people, especially the families of the victims of JW Marriott and Ritz
Carlton terrorist bombings.
"Please allow me to reiterate Norway's deepest condolences and sympathy
to the Indonesian people and government, and to the victims of these
heinous acts," he said.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul extended "heartfelt congratulations *to
Yudhoyono*.on the occasion of your re-election" and "best wishes for the
health and happiness of your ...and the prosperity of the friendly
people of Indonesia."
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (Azertag) reported that
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev wished Yudhoyono "good health,
happiness and success in *his* endeavors for the people of Indonesia,"
on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Republic of
Indonesia.
"I believe we will continue our efforts towards expanding relations
between our friendly countries and peoples, and our cooperation both in
bilateral ties and within international organizations," Aliyev said.
