The European Commission has once again eliminated two Indonesian airline
companies from the list of flying bans, following the revocation of
flying bans imposed on Garuda and three other Indonesian airline
companies.

Indonesian embassy in Brussels P.L.E.Priatna told Antara`s London
correspondent on Tuesday that the two airline companies are Indonesia
Air Asia and Metro Batavia.
They are allowed to fly to Europe beginning from July 6, 2010.
He said the decision was taken unanimously by representatives of 27
countries of the European Union after considering the direct explanation
and written answers from the two airline companies at a meeting of the
Air Safety Committee (ASC) on June 22, 2010, in Brussels.
The decision to lift the flight ban was carried in an EC Regulation No.
590/2010 dated July 5, 2010, which was announced officially in the

The European Commission had lifted the flight ban for the two airline
