The name
Pesona
Mawar Nusantara
(meaning “Enchanting Roses of the Archipelago”) was given by Mrs. Fely Rose
Inkiriwang, spouse of Ambassador Immanuel Robert Inkiriwang, on the
celebration of the 63rd Indonesian Independence Day in the Embassy, 17
August 2008. The dancers are the symbolic captivating roses, while the
archipelago connotes Indonesia, the name
Pesona
Mawar Nusantara
